Louisiana United Methodist Children and Family Services has cared for thousands of Louisiana's children and families. We minister to children and families across the spectrum of need. With prevention and early intervention services, like Family Plus and MST, we build families by focusing on family preservation to help children remain at home. We provide an array of ministries across Louisiana from intensive, home-based services to residential care for children with severe emotional and behavioral needs who are unable to live at home with community-based supports.

Our ministry is family-centered. Our clients are families and children of Louisiana from all races, religions, and economic backgrounds. We provide a broad continuum of services which includes intensive home-based services (IHBS), out-patient counseling and intensive residential treatment services for children and families experiencing crises, emotional stress and relationship problems. Methodist Children's Home of Southwest Louisiana

Located just north of Sulphur, Louisiana, on Beglis Parkway, the new facilities are designed to house up to 32 children and include classrooms and offices for clinical, nursing, residential and administrative staff. This new campus near Sulphur, Louisiana serves as the regional center for our ministry to children and families in southwest Louisiana, allowing us to serve children and families much closer to their own homes.
