Critical: Louisiana’s chief crisis is not petroleum, land subsidence, or even the budget. The most critical matter facing Louisiana is how we care for our children. When we fail our children, we fail our future. For 26 years, Louisiana has averaged 49th among the 50 states for child well-being. This cannot continue.
