Community Bridges

This spring the OWL Center has welcomed Community Bridges on several occasions. Community Bridges is a residential program for adults with developmental, physical, or mental handicaps. There are nine residential homes scattered throughout northeast Louisiana; each is occupied by 10-12 residents and staff. OWL Center Work Groups

Master Gardeners Class

Several of the OWL Center Staff participated in the LSU Ag Center Master Gardener’s Class this past spring. Samantha Luttrell, Tammy Stevens, Cindy Croft and Sara Corley took part in classes from March to the end of May. The subjects covered in the class included plant pathology, vegetable gardening, ornamental horticulture, and many other subjects. [...]
