Positions in Our Ruston Location:
Child Care Specialist
Full-time, Relief and Part-Time Positions
This is a position working with teenage adolescents in a residential setting. Must
successfully complete all phases of core and specialized training, including physical
restraint training. Position may experience verbal and/or physical aggression from client
population. This position provides round the clock supervision of our youth; 3-8 hour shifts
per day, 365 days per year.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be twenty (20) years of age, high school diploma or GED, no criminal history and excellent driving record. Previous childcare experience preferred.
Pay: Starting pay for Child Care Specialist is a competitive pay rate.
Positions in Our Mandeville Location:
Residential Therapist
1 full-time position
Residential Therapist will serve in a professional counseling capacity providing counseling and case management services to resident youth of the program. The therapist will carry a full clinical caseload on site.
Minimum Qualifications: A Residential Therapist must have a master’s degree in social work (MSW), counseling or psychology that meets the educational requirements for licensure in Louisiana as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). The therapist should either be licensed or working under supervision approved by the board of examiners for their respective discipline. Residential Therapists should have two years experience that includes working with adolescents and their families. Educational coursework should have included courses in developmental psychology and adolescent psychology.
Salary: Anticipated hiring range for Therapist is $34,000 to $37,000 per year.
Child Care Specialist
Full-time and Part-time positions
