The Family Counseling Center is a community service of Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home. Counseling services are available for individuals, couples, families, and children. Services are provided by Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Masters level student interns.
Our therapists can provide the services that you and your loved ones need in order to build and maintain healthy relationships, heal from traumatic experiences, gain insight into issues that may be hindering you, overcome life’s many obstacles, and improve your quality of life overall. Family Counseling Center Lobby
Two state of the art play therapy rooms designed to aid children in expressing their thoughts and feelings and working through their issues in a safe and comfortable environment.
Testing for ADHD via the IVA+Plus screening and the BASC Educational trainings for the community on topics including ADHD, Trauma, Keeping Kids Safe with regard to technology, and Child-Parent Relationship Training.
Payment:
FCC accepts most insurance plans and offers a sliding scale based on income. Various grants are also available through the United Way, Lincoln Health Foundation, and the Local Commission on Law Enforcement (Crime Victims Assistance).
The United Way Grant helps to subsidize the sliding scale for those that cannot afford the lowest fee.
The Crime Victims Assistance (CVA) Grant provides 10 free sessions to anyone who has been victim of a traumatic crime such as sexual assault or abuse or domestic violence. This grant is also made available to family members of victims.
The Lincoln Health Grant provides counseling for low income residents of Lincoln Parish.

Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Family Counseling Center of Louisiana United Methodist Children and Family Services, Inc., is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
